Boliden Green Zink project for increasing Zink production from 200 to 350.000 MTY.
Investment of 11-12 billion NOK.
The ground for locating new production area was contaminated with heavy metals and soil classified as haxardous waste. WMR took care of approx 35.000 MT of hazardous soil with sea transport and stabilisation at Miljøteknikk Terrateam in Rana.
WMR also handled non hazardous soil with sea transport and final disposal at Svåheia landfill in Egersund.
