LKAB in Narvik was preaparing the ground for new warehousebuildings and needed to clean up contaminated and off grades iron ore . WMR shipped approx 150.000 MT of contaminated iron ores for separation and reuse in Belgium and Germany. Moisture and foreign particles was removed and waste matereial upgraded to usable secondary raw material for industrial purposes.
